[1/365] Thirty Seconds: Hollywood Cinemas

We discovered Hollywood Cinemas in Norwich by accident, and now we go there every Monday night for £4.99 movies.  It is amazing.  On this particular night we saw Bridget Jones’s Baby, but you wouldn’t pick it, because this little film is quite dark (basically the composer of the Stranger Things theme and David Lynch made a 30 second amateur baby).

Hollywood Cinemas is almost frozen in time… the prices, the food, the decor.  I knew the first time I went there that I wanted to capture the vintage and the eeriness of the place, and make it look really empty and ghostlike.

If you’re ever in Norwich, please pay Hollywood Cinemas a visit.  When you find one of these little old cinemas, the nostalgia is powerful, and you end up having the best time.
